About Our Association

Volunteers working hand-in-hand with park staff

The Friends of Onaway State Park (FOOSP) was established to help Onaway State Park achieve its goals in promotion, environmental interpretation, and resource preservation.

Onaway State Park staff also oversee surrounding state forest recreation areas, including Tomahawk Flooding East and West, Tomahawk Lake, Shoepac Lake, the Sinkholes Pathway, Bear Den Lake Boating Access, and the High Country Pathway.
